What do I stand for? More than a single idea, I am a stand for safe spaces. Sacred places where vulnerability and authenticity are celebrated, not censored or shamed. Probably because for me, there is nothing quite as magical as finding a person who loves themselves – their energy and presence alone is healing. So when I think about a tribe filled with self-empowered people, well now that’s a revolution. And frankly, our world needs more revolutionary spaces these days.
Albert Camus – a genius and paradoxical philosopher – explained it like this: “The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so free that your own existence is an act of rebellion.” That’s what I’ve set out to create: a space in which we can all express our truths freely and indiscriminately. These blogs are my truths, which I messily and openly share with you in the hopes that you feel seen and understood and received. My intention is for you to get that being human is nothing to be ashamed of. That vulnerability and breakthrough are totally sloppy and confusing and we’re all doing the best we can! And our best is enough.
You see, I have always been a little taboo and a lotta unconventional. As a result, the norms were rough on me and the lessons were heavy. I have sat in my Shadow and trembled at its vastness. It was in this charged and heavy place that I discovered my own worthiness and Light. I invite you to peruse through my blogs and discover the value of who you are: whole, complete, and oh so worthy of your trust. Welcome home, lovely.
